Happy New Year!!!!
I hope you all had fun last night and enjoyed your last day of 2011…
So normally I have a list a mile long of resolutions… not this year. I have just one. Get healthier. I mean, I am healthy… I am…really I am. I just have bad tendencies to over eat at parties, drink a few glasses…ok you have me… more like a bottle of wine, not work out… yes, the list could go on. But, I would say on an every day basis I am healthy. I don’t smoke or do drugs, I am in a very happy marriage & have two happy children. I am in close contact with my girlfriends from grade school and love to laugh all of the time.
Sooo to make good on my resolution: I am starting WW (again)
I am 146lbs. My goal weight is 120 and I am 5’2”. So I have LOTS to lose! I normally don’t put a date as to when I want to lose it so I won’t get upset when I am not at the weight on that said date. However, I am going to set a date this time. I think it is completely attainable…drumroll please… June 1st! So that gives me 5 months!!
This past summer my husband and I followed Weight Watchers and we both had success on it (it wasn’t our 1st time…we have had prior successes). I was down to 135 and actually maintained that for a little over a month. THENNNNN my 10 yr highschool reunion crept up, vacation for 3 and a half weeks to my parents lake house, vacation to St. Thomas for 8 days, camping…and you name it we did it! We have been on the go since last January.
Starting today we are going to get back to the gym, start making healthier choices and use our WW tools to take our life back.
